Domes can be used for ReSound hearing aids with the speaker unit placed in the ear canal, so called RITE (Reciever In The Ear). This solution often creates a more natural sound as it does not block the ear canal. The solution is also more cooling and open than a conventional insert.

Dome and earphone cleaning:
The hearing aid tube and dome should be cleaned regularly. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the hearing aid, sound tube and dome. Do not use water to clean the earphone, sound tube or dome. The same process applies for cleaning the UP inserts.
