Changing the dome on your hearing aid can be difficult and fiddly. They are very small hearing aid accessories that have two main functions: protecting the hearing aid speaker unit and holding the hearing aid in place. The external impact also changes the properties of the dome, making it important to continuously change the dome, so it gives you good optimal sound amplification while the hearing aid sits comfortably.
We recommend our customers to change the dome once a month or even more often if you have a lot of earwax. Another tip if you have a lot of earwax is to rinse your dome in lukewarm water. But remember that they must be dried before you attach it to the hearing aid again.
Remember to be careful when pulling off your old dome. Use your fingers or tweezers to gently pull it off, avoid using your fingernails as this can damage your hearing aid. We can also recommend applying a simple twisting motion when removing your dome.

Sometimes it can be easier to understand instructions if you can see them. Below is a simple instructional video on how to easily change the dome of your hearing aid.
